A checklist version of the National Technical Outcomes for the T Level Transition Programme (Level 2) for the Business and Administration route taken from the T Level Transition Programme Framework for Delivery 2022 to 2023.
This checklist could be used to map out each aspect of the 3 outcomes against your chosen qualification units if using qualification delivery or against your chosen project(s) if using route-based projects, or a combination of both.
I hope you find this resource helpful!
A suggested template for setting projects to achieve the National Technical Outcomes of the T Level Transition Programme (Business and Administration route) if using route-based projects or combination of a project/projects in addition to the qualification route (if needed).
The project template follows the outline for the T Level Employer Set Project (ESP) using the sample ESP provided on the City and Guilds website - providing good practice at Level 2 for this assessment at T Level although timescales should probably be more flexible for this preparation activity at Level 2.
This is a template outline for a project rather than the project specifics, so you can design your own project to meet the specific national technical outcomes required, but helps to give structure to what to include where, as a starting point.
If you need an idea for referring to these projects as a whole, they could be ‘T Level Prep ESP 1/2/3’ - Also the teaching for these projects prior to the project being set - to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to undertake the project - these could be referred to as ‘core skills and knowledge’ sessions or CSK for short - just an idea to help!
This download contains 4 Microsoft Word documents:
1. Assessment document for students to access (based on task numbers of T Level sample project - edit as desired to reflect the components/tasks of the project you set, could use all tasks to match T Level ESP or take some out and make the project shorter. Created using a table so answer boxes will get bigger as students type so as not to limit the size of answers and rows can be inserted/removed easily as required)
2. Template for project brief and business case
3. Suggested marking grid (also includes links to the T Level ESP resources from City and Guilds for information, and the T Level Transition Programme Framework for Delivery documents (national technical outcomes) from gov.uk
4. Task timings table
^ all based on the layout of T Level sample project - 4 document templates ready to edit as desired for your own project!
